Delete your data
You can delete everything PodcastsAI holds about you, at any time, without asking anyone. Here is how.
Delete your summaries and channels
- Open PodcastsAI.
- Tap Clear next to My Summaries, and confirm.
- Tap the × next to any channel under My Channels to remove it.
This deletes the summaries, transcripts, and channel list stored on the device. If you are signed in, the deletion is also sent to the server, so the items do not come back on your other devices.
Delete your account and everything stored with it
- Open the account screen (the person icon, top right).
- Tap Delete account and all my data.
- Read the warning and tap Delete to confirm.
This happens immediately, not on a queue. It erases the library, channel list, and subscription records held against your account on our server, along with your email address, and clears the copy on the device you are using. It cannot be undone.
Signing out, by contrast, only removes the account from that device and leaves the server copy in place, so that signing back in restores it.
If you would rather not use the app, email tchuynh24@gmail.com from the address you signed in with and we will do it for you within 30 days.
Stop notifications for a show
Open the channel and tap Unsubscribe. That deletes the notification token stored for your device.
What is kept, and for how long
- On your device: cleared the moment you tap Clear.
- On our server: erased the moment you confirm in the app; within 30 days if you ask by email.
- No backups of account data are kept after deletion.
- Anonymous rate-limit counters hold a random per-install identifier for at most one hour, and are not linked to you.
- Product analytics remove one-way installation hashes after 90 days. Aggregate event totals do not identify an account and remain so usage can be compared over time.
